Larry Blake Returns to Columbus!

Cartoonist, publisher and ultimate KISS fan Larry Blake was selling collectables and original art at this past weekend's Record, CD & Music Memorabilia Show.

Check out Larry's contributions to this beautfully produced hardcover history of KISS fanzines: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Kiss-Army-Worldwide/Gene-Simmons/e/9781597775113?r=1&cm_mmc=Google%20Product%20Search-_-Q000000630-_-Kiss%20Army%20Worldwide-_-9781597775113

5 Star Comics: Fun Comic Goodness

Available now from my good and talented friend Terence Hanley: 5 Star Comics #1.

Drawing upon obscure Golden Age comics characters, 5 Star Comics features five fun stories written and drawn by Terence and friends Larry Blake, Jordan Lowe and Gary Gibeaut. If you like the charming pre-socially relevant thrills of Golden Age comics, you'll dig this, too.

The back cover also features a preview of the character Black Bat, by Matt Marshall, which indicates Matt should have been drawing the original Batman instead of Bob Kane!

Check out http://fivestarcomics.blogspot.com/ for lots more info. Email Terence at comicbookmastermind@gmail.com for ordering info.

Cartoonist Larry Blake will also be appearing at the Columbus Record, CD, & Music Memorabilia Show on Saturday, November 12th. I'll be there, too, searching for Stax 45s and purchasing some original art from Larry. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Columbus-Ohio-Record-CD-Music-Memorabilia-Show/110055812344340?sk=info

Lastly, check out Terence Hanley's excellent blog on writers for the classic Weird Tales pulp. Good stuff! http://tellersofweirdtales.blogspot.com/
