Some Charming Illustrations from Carolyn Haywood's "Eddie's Pay Dirt"

These very beautiful drawings were produced for Eddie's Pay Dirt, one of several Eddie books which Carolyn Haywood also wrote. My copy is a Scholastic edition copyrighted 1953.

Anyone who knows more about this wonderful writer/illustrator, please post some info here. Eddie's Pay Dirt is not listed on Wikipedia as one of the books Haywood created.
