Drawing upon obscure Golden Age comics characters, 5 Star Comics features five fun stories written and drawn by Terence and friends Larry Blake, Jordan Lowe and Gary Gibeaut. If you like the charming pre-socially relevant thrills of Golden Age comics, you'll dig this, too.
The back cover also features a preview of the character Black Bat, by Matt Marshall, which indicates Matt should have been drawing the original Batman instead of Bob Kane!

Freak Cave and Dr. Zaius Birthday Gifts
Above: beautiful birthday gifts drawn and given to me by Kathleen and Ian Cannell. Kathleen painted a vivid, expressive interpretation of my Freak Cave comic strip, while Ian drew the violent visage of Planet of the Apes' Dr. Zaius (""Man shall never speak...as they said in the old proverbs," Are we not men?").
Thank you, Ian and Kathleen. Your appreciation for freakishness gives me hope for the next generation!
