The Winter Blues Fun Pack includes:
-The Signifiers #1 and 2
The Signifiers is my flagship title, a genre-bending, epic sci-fi adventure. #2 has an interview with Tom Scioli (Transformers vs. GI Joe, American Barbarian) on the current state of comic book distribution and lots of unpublished Scioli artwork. Both issues also feature Landlark, the Heat-Seeking Dwarf! The first issue is 48 pages; the second, 52 pages.
"Just read Michael Neno's The Signifiers - one of the strangest, coolest comics I've read all year" - Paul Pope, on Twitter
"I really enjoyed Landlark, the Heat-Seeking Dwarf. I was captivated by it. I felt like I was really watching these strange events unfold before me." - Tom Scioli
"If Jack Kirby and Paul Pope had ever gotten drunk together and produced a comic book, The Signifiers would be it. Reading The Signifiers #1 reminded me of the first time I read Love & Rockets." - Leroy Douresseaux, The Comic Book Bin.
-Reactionary Tales #1
My Xeric grant-winning title is the intro to The Signifiers Universe, the intro to the series This Eternal Flaw and Larvae Boy, Emperor of the Insect World, and features an introduction written and drawn by Paul Pope, "The Ballad of Michael Neno".
- The Quacky Pig and Friends Coloring Book
My first, magazine-sized coloring book features highlights hand-painted on the front and back cover of every copy. It's twisted fun in the style of old Whitman coloring books.
"The undeniable magnificence of Quacky Pig leaves me scratching my head in admiration" - Steve Lieber (Conan the Barbarian, The Road to Perdition)
- A random issue of my Pictures of Benevolence mini comics
- A kitschy Underwater Cats button
- A different Underwater Cats greeting card
That's $23 worth of goodness for $20, plus free shipping! Just email me at: mneno@columbus.rr.com for payment arrangements.
