I hate to break it to Lana Del Rey, whose publicity machine is saying she's the "gangsta Nancy Sinatra": Nancy Sinatra was more "gangsta" in 1967 than Del Rey will likely ever be (ignoring the possibility that "gangsta" may not be a goal that's necessarily desirable).
And Sinatra didn't have to change her lips.
