Playin' With the Thing
A spot illo I penciled and inked this week; it was then gorgeously rendered by master colorist Randy Sargent.

Peter Bogdanovich at the Wexner
One of the best ten dollars I've spent: an evening with director, writer and interviewer Peter Bogdanovich, at the Ohio State University Wexner Center.
After a 35mm, IB Technicolor print of his 1972 What's Up, Doc? was screened, Bogdanovich regaled the crowd with anecdotes and observations, answering questions from the audience and performing impeccable impressions of Hollywood legends like James Stewart and Cary Grant.
Thank you, Wexner Film and Video Dept. for a very memorable evening.

The Signifiers #1 Ready for Shipping!
A twisted new comic book series is hitting the stands!
Taking place in the same universe as the Xeric Grant-funded Reactionary Tales,The Signifiers #1 features the debut of Splash and Thelma, two denizens of Millbrook, an enclave sheltering adventurers living in safety from an apocalyptic civil war fought against, and for, a mysterious force called The Voyst.
A hefty 48 pages, The Signifiers also features the backup series, Landlark, the Heat-Seeking Dwarf, a short subject, a letters page, a Signifiers Universe map, and more!
Be the first on your block to order your copy here (and let me know if you'd like your copy autographed): http://www.nenoworld.com/The_Signifiers_No.1.html

There are currently 27 million enslaved people worldwide- more than double the number of enslaved Africans during the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
The Comic Creator's Alliance is a group of Web Comic Creators who have come together, volunteering their artistic talents to raise money for the purpose of ending human trafficking.
Please check out the CCA website, where cartoonists have contributed artwork for a PC wallpaper, downloadable after contributing a donation to this very worthy cause.
You can also learn about Love 146 and Gracehaven, the recipient organizations for contributions donated to the CCA: http://comicalliance.weebly.com/
Please consider making a difference with your dollars!

Thanks to Wild Goose Creative, Nathan Weller, John Reuben and Jesse Cale (above) for an unbelievable night of hop hop, techno fun. I had a permanent smile the entire evening. If only the rest of the year could be as joyous!
