In September, 1985, I ordered one of the last Blackhawk catalogs selling Super 8 movies. After many decades of popularity with collectors, Super 8 was out, VHS was in, and even the recently introduced RCA Video Discs were on their way out. Samples of the catalog detailing the end of an era:
